Malachite ps. After Azurite (excellent velvety style)

A very fine and sculptural Tsumeb pseudomorph. Shimmering, chatoyant velvety malachite has replaced an aesthetic cluster of sharp terminated azurite crystals. The impressive crystal is 3.8 cm long and is doubly terminated, when viewed from the back. A classic and outstanding 360-degree specimen, that is certainly not impacted by the basal periphery wear. Valued at $2000 by the former dealer. (note the base has been removed since posting, so the old glue and ugly block is gone...)
