Malachite ps. After Azurite ex. Urish Coll.

Item Description

This is a large blocky hunk of malachite which has replaced a previously blocky hunk of azurite filling a vein between layers of matrix. So it looks like a fat parallelogram shaped crystal, constrained in by the surrounding rock, and now turned to malachite. From that matrix shoots out a really neat, robust azurite crystal with deep blue color. It shows partial alteration to malachite, only. It has an incredible luster, color, and termination. Although only 1 cm tall, it leaps out to the eye
