Item Description
Secondary copper minerals are RARE from Brazil. One thinks of famous pegmatite species, diamonds, amethyst or calcite. The very finest azurite and malachite specimens came from a small one-time fine in late 1990s from obscure Seabra in Bahia State. This striking, sculptural, large 360-degree mounded specimen features light green nubby malachite botryoids richly and dramatically covered with two-toned rosettes of malachite pseudomorphs after bladed azurite crystals. Every turn of this pristine piece presents a strikingly different perspective to this rare, dramatic and outstanding large example. Value??
