The sculptural matrix with a deep "valley" hosts a striking floral-like cluster of parallel-growth malachite after sharp azurite blades from this less well-known Laos gold and copper mine. The rich scattering of more pseudos and a few unaltered azurites adds real pizzazz to this aesthetic and rare specimen. Apparently, the miners do not realize, that quality malachite specimens also have value, as few have reached the Western market. Nearly pristine, with only a modest bit of periphery wear on the right side. This is an impressive specimen of malachite pseudomorphs after azurite blades aesthetically set on matrix. A rare and excellent pseudo valued at $1000-1250.
