This less well-known Laos gold and copper mine has recently produced small lots of world-class azurite and cuprite specimens. Apparently, the miners do not realize, that quality malachite specimens also have value, as few have reached the Western market. This is an elegant, outstanding and sharp, 3.9 cm, elongated rosette of malachite pseudomorphs after stout azurite blades aesthetically set on matrix. A rare, excellent and pristine pseudo valued at $700-800.
