Item Description
Two-toned, rich green velvet malachite has pseudomorphed a sculptural, dense cluster of sharp tapered azurite blades on this showy and excellent small cabinet plate from the Milpillas Mine. The pseudos reach about 1.3 cm. The plate is pristine and this fine piece has two displayable views. The smelter is converting to sulfide ore soon, indicating the oxide zone is about mined out. No more superb azurites and malachites will be forthcoming. Get a fine example of this varietal while you can!
