Item Description
A striking and aesthetic specimen from recent finds at this now well-known Mexican locale. Chatoyant velvet malachite has pseudomorphed azurite blades to about 1.7 cm that are dramatically strewn along the crest of the starkly contrasting, snow-white matrix wedge. The many pseudos are pristine, front and back! The smelter is converting to sulfide ore soon, indicating the oxide zone is about mined out. No more superb azurites and malachites will be forthcoming. A sculptural piece. Get a fine very example of this varietal while you can!
