Malachite ps. After Azurite

Item Description

An attractive plate of malachite pseudomorphs after azurite from the now famous discovery of 2007 at Milpillas. Although there were many of these specimens available a few years ago, fine quality, undamaged display specimens are few and far between today. This piece features good quality, velvety, dark forest-green crystals with nice chatoyance. The largest crystal measures 1.3 cm, and the bit of azurite at one end makes for a great touch of additional color. Very little damage, and great quality for the find.
