Item Description

Fine, small-cabinet Malachite specimen from the famous Katanga Copper Crescent. The electric green Malachite has grown in classic, radial clusters composed of slender, needle-like sprays up to 4.5 cm. The luster has its own, unique sheen that simply says 'Malachite', and you could honestly display this in either orientation, as both have their own particular appeal. Even with all the malachites out there, this is a good, substantial, representative piece. Large cluster of primary malachite, not as replacements of azurite as is more common.
