Item Description
Here we have a wonderful polished slice of Malachite from the famous Katanga Copper Crescent in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. The piece was originally part of a single stalactite, but it was badly damaged, so it was better served as a lapidary item, which would honestly make a great match for a specimen from this area. The piece shows gorgeous concentric banding showing alternating colors of lighter and darker green throughout. Specimen weight is 71.3 grams.
