Malachite on Quartz

Item Description

This piece came with a hand written note that said it's from Concepcion del Oro, but I'm not 100% certain of its authenticity. The piece features a good sized "ball" of velvety green Malachite measuring 3.8 cm across sitting on iron-stained red Quartz crystals, which are actually white underneath. An attractive and worthwhile display specimen. If anybody has input as to the correct locality for this specimen, please let us know.
