Malachite on Hematite w/ Siderite (RARE for locale) Kay Robertson Coll.

Malachite and siderite are RARE from the famed Cavradi gorge, known for world-class hematite and rutile specimens. Malachite coats some of the blades of the classic hematite iron roses and the thin matrix plate is richly encrusted with light brown siderite rhombs. Such combinations are EXTREMELY RARE. Choice combination material from the Kay Robertson Collection # 10820. Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record). I have not seen another malachite for sale from here, myself
