Item Description

Beautiful chatoyant sprays of emerald-green malachite needles line vugs and veins on several sides of the sculptural vesicular goethite matrix from one of the old mines in Saxony. Formerly in the Taldino Testone Collection. Ex Chet Lemanski Collection No. 0897 and acquired in 1991. Perhaps one of our German or European collectors has more definitive locality information on this Saxony specimen. Colorful and showy, undoubtedly older combination material.
