Malachite on Chrysocolla

Scintillating spherical aggregates of tiny, primary, gemmy, emerald-green, malachite crystals cover the sculptural large plate and are nicely accented with complimentary blue-green chrysocolla. The scalloped chrysocolla on one edge is particulary appealing. The contacting in the center of the plate is certainly a very modest detraction to this excellent and colorful large piece from this noted locale. The form looks like a stylized shoe or the State of Kentucky.
