Item Description
This specimen features some good quality, sparkling, deep forest green "balls" of Malachite on gorgeous turquoise blue colored, bubbly Chrysocolla on matrix. The largest Malachite "ball" measures about 8 mm across. The piece is in great shape overall, and really catches one's attention. There were a lot of these specimens found several years ago, but I really respect the fact that this one wasn't all bashed up, and retained its striking form. The L'Etoile du Congo Mine (Star of the Congo Mine) is famous for its wonderful secondary copper minerals, and a piece like this is a classic example of these well-known specimens.
