Item Description

This historic mine was one of the most important copper mines of Imperial Russia, and the source of large quantities of malachite for use as ornamental stone (MINDAT). Gorgeous, multi-hued banded "eyes" beautifully decorate the sliced and polished (as most were) face and one side of this impressive old-timer from the Richard Hauck Collection. 345 grams.
