Striking, very unusual looking, multi-hued, malachite botryoids in different sizes cover this impressive and very showy large crust of solid malachite. Classic, pristine, old-time material from the Copper Queen Mine (probably the Czar Shaft) and the Dartmouth College Collection. The specimen and label numbers match. It looks some kind of weird, nubby, green animal hide.
