Item Description
Here we have an eye-catching specimen of Malachite from the Lucky Mine in Otero County, New Mexico. This near full cabinet sized display piece hosts several attractive botryoidal groups of lovely green Malachite measuring up to about 6 mm across, sitting on oxidized matrix. Additionally, there are some chatoyant thin bladed crystals, which very well could be Malachite pseudomorphs after Azurite. No major damage that I can see, and the piece displays quite nicely. Specimens from the Lucky Mine are rare on the market, and this is one of the VERY few Malachites we've had to offer from the locality.
