Item Description
Beautiful gentle velvety acicular mint green Malachite "needles" are intermixed with starkly contrasting orange-brown gossan matrix to form a beautiful overall display specimen of this classic material from Bisbee. The Copper Queen Mine is arguably the most significant locality in Arizona for various copper species such as Auzrite and Malachite, and fine examples of rare copper minerals such as Paramelaconite and Spangolite.
