Item Description

An excellent and showy "primary" Malachite specimen from the famous Mashamba West Mine of Shaba Province, Zaire. Several VERY sharp and lustrous, Malachite crystal groups up to 1.2 cm are aesthetically scattered on a sculptural secondary ore matrix. Primary malachite of this quality is significant, and is not that common from Zaire or anywhere. From the dealer stock of Herb Obodda, priced at $800, but honestly I think it's worth more.
