Item Description
Bisbee is one of the most famous copper producing localities in the United States. The Azurite and Malachite specimens from this area are beloved by collectors. This miniature specimen features attractive soft green color, velvety acicular "sprays" of Malachite sitting on contrasting brown Limonite matrix. Classic material from Bisbee, and beautiful to view up close. Ex Kay Robertson Collection (#333). Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record and the 50+ page article in the German Magazine "Mineralien Welt" November-December 2017).
