A great quality display specimen Malachite from Shilu showing attractive velvety, botryoidal aggregates. The inner portion of the specimen shows a complete "spire" of Malachite that touches both sides of the vug. The piece almost looks as though it should be something organic because one does not often encounter something with this appearance in a mineral. From the famous collection of Dr. Eugene Sensel.
