Malachite (ex Bruce Carter Collection)

Item Description

According to the label, this piece was pictured in the Mineralogical Record in 2001. It comes from the collection of hollywood director/producer, Bruce Carter. It's a great quality Malachite from Shilu showing attractive forest green coloration on the top and a lighter green underneath cosisting of many botryoidal aggregates and "flowing" forms to create a specimen with an attractive overall appearance. The piece almost looks as though it should be something organic because one does not often encounter something with this appearance in a mineral.
