Item Description
Specimens from the San Pedro Mine of New Mexico are seldom on the market. A striking, very sharp, 1.3 x 1.2 cm, blocky, brassy, chalcopyrite crystal caps this sculptural piece. Malachite coats many of the sharp, euhedral, chalcopyrite crystals. A stunning accent is the second generation of super-bright, iridescent chalcopyrite. There is even a wedge of quartz attached to one side. Dramatic, older material from this less common locale. Ex Wes Parker Collection.
