A nifty 3-piece deal of old-time, excellent, floater malachite-coated cuprite crystals from the famous mines at Chessy. The classic crystals have different forms, adding pizzazz. The large crystal is two intergrown octahedrons and the two smaller ones appear to be RARE intergrown dodecahedrons or else are highly modified. You can see areas of wine-red cuprite, where there is trivial bruising. The ancient Chessy mines were closed by the end of the 19th century and these are fine and possibly rare examples of a classic form and species. Ex Herb Obodda dealer stock.
