An old-time, showy, floater malachite-coated cuprite crystal from the famous mines at Chessy. This classic is pristine and has rare dodecahedral crystal form. The ancient Chessy mines were closed by the end of the 19th century and this is an outstanding example of a classic, rare form and species. Ex Robert Whitmore Collection.
