Item Description
Stunning chatoyancy on many of the malachite botryoids on this impressive rich old-time large specimen from the famous Cole Shaft at Bisbee. The other botryoids have a nice sheen to the nubby surfaces. Undoubtedly older material dating to prior to World War II. Formerly in the John Parnau Collection, a prominent California field collector and mineral collector, who died in 1990. Ex Bob Reynolds Collection. Bob is a well-known fossil and mineral expert and Curator of the San Bernardino County Museum. Classic and excellent old-time Bisbee malachite from the Cole Shaft.
