Pretty turquoise-blue and blue-green chrysocolla botryoids are nestled among strikingly sparkly malachite botryoids on both sides of this very colorful and showy combination specimen from this famous and abandoned mine. A bit of periphery wear is noted on one side, but only has modest impact to this sculptural specimen. The break reveals the radial, banded nature of the malachite botryoids and the striking, super chatoyancy. Very nifty. The sparkling quality of the malachite really adds to the attractiveness of this exceptional combination piece. Ex Herb Obodda dealer stock and valued by him at $500, five or more years ago.
