Item Description
Very attractive combination piece from the famous copper region in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. The deep green, primary Malachite is composed of thin, acicular needles that cluster into beautiful green balls, the largest of which is 3.5 cm across. The numerous Malachites are provided a lovely contrast by the swirling, light pastel colors of the Chrysocolla. An interesting and aesthetic combination from an undetermined mine in this well-known mining area. The style is unusual, and not common!
