Item Description
A showy and excellent large combination specimen from the well-known, but very small and intermittently productive, Rum Jungle Prospect in Australia. The large, sculptural, and sturdy crust is almost entirely classic, forest-green, velvety Malachite botryoids. The largest is over 2.5 cm, and the shimmer of the Malachite is better in person than a still shot can show. Scattered across the piece are subhedral crystals of light tan, lustrous Cerussite. There is some crystalline development, as well as some twinning, with the Cerussite also having a soft white fluorescence. Good aesthetics for this fine, large combination specimen from this sought-after locality. This is an old classic, with rpobust color, good size, and a nice "horizon" of aesthetics. Valued $1500-2000
