Item Description

Outstanding and dramatically sculptural malachite and azurite small cabinet from this very well-known Chinese copper-iron deposit. An amazingly sculptural upright cluster of distorted, pillow-like, soft green primary malachite botryoids is beautifully sprinkled with small rosettes of striking "electric-blue" azurite crystals. The sawed malachite and azurite base adds considerably to the surreal display quality of the piece. This highly unusual looking and remarkable combination really resembles similar material from the famous Morenci Mine of Arizona, from which it would be valued in the thousands if so.
