Item Description
A really cute and sharp pseudomorph from the famous mines at Chessy, France. This is a pristine, floater pseudo of malachite after cuprite with textbook dodecahedral crystal form. SELDOM are floater pseudos available in this quality. The ancient Chessy mines were closed by the end of the 19th century and this is a fine example of a classic form and species. Similar have sold widely in recent years for $200-400. Ex Bob Trimingham Collection and obtained in 1972 from David New.
