Item Description
A small but razor-sharp and perfectly preserved crystal of this old classic material once thought to be its own species back before pseudomorphism was understood and when they mined this deposit for copper and ores and produced minerals as a side product (the azurite was once called Chessylite before the non-French word was formalized for mineralogy later!). From the award-winning thumbnail collection of Sharon and William Panczner, author of the book Minerals Of Mexico, and last seen and exhibited in the 1960s and recently rediscovered. 100 percent complete all around on all sides with zero nicks or damage
