Item Description

A cool pseudomorphs association specimen from this lesser known Cu-Ag-Pb-Zn-Au-Mn-W-Mo mine in far southern central Arizona. The piece hosts relatively well-formed pseudomorphs of green velvety Malachite replacing small "sword"-shaped crystals of Azurite with minor bluish Aurichalcite on beautifully contrasting goosan matrix. A wonderful piece compositionally, and truly eye-catching for the color combination. You don't see a lot of specimens from the Omega Mine on the market these days. This piece is from the collection of Brian Kosnar who obtained it from the Harold Urish collection.
