Malachite after Azurite w/ Azurite (excellent)

Item Description

An elegant, very well-balanced Tsumeb miniature pseudomorph. The stout, 2.8 cm, tabular, sharply and doubly terminated pseudo is aesthetically perched on matrix of smaller pseudos. Scintillating, royal-blue azurite crystals with flashes to "electric-blue" color are strikingly and beautifully scattered on both sides of this very fine two-sided piece. The large pseudo is pristine and the contacting on one side and basal periphery of the piece have very minimal impact on the outstanding quality of this older specimen. It displays beautifully from either side without aid. Classic Tsumeb. Fairly valued at $1500-2000.
