Item Description
Here we have a wonderful pseudomorph of Malachite replacing preexisting Azurite from a lesser known locality, the Sir Dominick Mine in South Australia. The piece is a complete "floater" specimen as it's completely crystallized all the way around. The form is best described as a semi-"rosette", with some defined blocky crystals on the base of the specimen. The Malachite has a rich forest green hue with a velvety luster. The piece has excellent three-dimensional form and is a fine example of this hard to find material. A great piece for any secondary mineral collector or a fan of pseudomorphs.
