Item Description
An attractive specimen of Malachite from a discovery in 2007 at Milpillas. There were many specimens of this material on the market a few years ago, and they have quickly dried up since the mine is done producing carbonates, and moved on to the base metals, meaning that there will be no more pieces like this on the market. Get them now while they're reasonable, because they will jump in value like many things that are no longer available from classic locales. This piece features beautiful, velvety, semi-fibrous, forest-green crystals of Malachite forming attractive "tufts" on host rock matrix. Very little damage and very showy as you can see from the photos. Originally priced at $900 in our inventory.
