This specimen features some great quality, lustrous, fibrous, deep green acicular / semi-stalactitic Malachite from the famous copper deposits in the Katanga Copper Crescent. It has a unique velvety exterior appearance and a pleasing overall form This is a good quality piece of this fairly common material, but as is the case with many plentiful localities, eventually they run out, and even the average pieces become desirable, so pick up a good one here for a great price.
