An absolutely adorable and artistic malachite miniature from Rum Jungle. The sparkly, dark forest-green, velvety botryoids are stunningly separated by lighter, two-toned green, malachite ribbons. The botryoids look like they have been tied together! Even the back is very cool, highlighting the beautiful intense chatoyancy and banded nature of the botryoids. Rare in this quality and about the finest Brown's Prospect malachite we have offered at auction from this small prospect, worked the late 1970s. Classic and excellent Australia.
