Item Description
Kerrouchene Malachites have a personality all their own when it comes to their growth habit. The radial, fibrous growth can take numerous forms, looking like mushrooms, Hershey's Kisses or, in this case, a fascinating cross between a conch shell and a cornucopia as it tapers to make the aesthetic and interesting shape. One end shows the radial growth of the lustrous, shimmery, green Malachite, and the surface is composed of all the hundreds of terminations. Just looking at the form immediately gives an idea of the delightful and unusual, yet highly representative, presentation. An aesthetic, distinctive Malachite that is classic for the locality.
