Some of the most well-known and beautifully formed specimens of Malachite are those from various localities in the Katanga Copper Crescent in Democratic Republic of Congo. These pieces often feature beautiful formations / styles that are simply iconic, and stand out from almost anything else in the world. This piece hosts a beautiful elongated stalactitic group of Malachite with a gorgeous green color, and a light sparkly luster sitting atop botryoidal Malachite on minor matrix. The piece is in fine condition, with no major damage, and it's not loaded with little "bruises" like many of them can be. An elegant and classic piece of this famous material.
