An adorable and superb magnetite miniature from the is well-known Bolivian locale. A striking, sharp, pristine, 2.4 cm, splendent jet-black doubly terminated octahedron is dramatically set on the dacite matrix and nicely accented with smaller octos. This cutie has multiple fine display views and these are certainly among the finest examples of the species collected in the last 30 years worldwide. In fact, this came out in the 1990s and was in the Sam Nasser miniatures and thumbnails collection (which we acquired over 15 years ago). They rank high from any locality and time period.
