Item Description
A VERY hard to find specimen of crystallized Magnetite from Rudny featuring notably sharp, well-formed, lustrous, black, metallic octahedral crystals measuring up to 1.1 cm on matrix. I honestly don't think we've had one of these specimens to offer from Rundy in any capacity. If you collect European minerals, or worldwide Magnetite, don't miss out on this fine quality toenail of this elusive material! Ex Kay Robertson Collection (#12722). Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record and the 50+ page article in the German Magazine "Mineralien Welt" November-December 2017).
