Item Description
Sharp, tiny magnetite octahedrons, to 3 mm, are peppered on both sides of the large sculptural laminated chlorite schist plate on this showy, excellent and rare specimen from this obscure Austrian locale. Ex Kay Robertson Collection # 2017 and acquired in August, 1961. Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record).
