Magnetite (ex Obodda)

Item Description

A really cool "Alpine-type" Magnetite specimen from a metamorphic deposit in Pakistan. The piece features striated octahedral crystals of metallic Magnetite with minor "Chlorite" coated Rodingite host rock. The crystals are sharp and lustrous and very well-formed. Magnetite is a well known species, but good crystallized examples are few and far between in the world. Don't miss out on this attractive matrix display specimen of a hard to find species in well crystallized display specimens. This piece comes from the inventory of Herb Obodda.
