Item Description
A really cool "Alpine-type" Magnetite specimen from a metamorphic deposit in Pakistan. The piece features striated octahedral crystals of metallic Magnetite on "Chlorite" coated Rodingite host rock. The largest Magnetite measures 1.0 cm across. The crystals are sharp and lustrous and very well-formed. Magnetite is a well known species, but good crystallized examples are few and far between in the world. Don't miss out on this attractive matrix display specimen of a hard to find species in well crystallized display specimens. This piece comes from the inventory of Herb Obodda inventory.
