Splendent, dark metallic-gray, textbook sharp, magnetite octahedrons to 2.4 cm are attractively mounded on matrix on this very fine 360-degree specimen from Azerbaijan. Nearly pristine, with only trivial brusing to a secondary crystal. Specimens of this high quality came out in early-mid 1990s, with none since. Ex Herb Obodda dealer stock and comes with an older, 10 to 20-year old label, with a $200 price. It is worth more today. Strong magnetism, as you would expect.
