Item Description

Intergrown, splendent, jet-black compound magnetite cubes, to 1.1 cm, form a very fine and showy thumbnail with multiple display views from this well-known New York mine. The finds from this deep mine in 1991 and 92 are considered to be some of the finest magnetites in the world. The bit of bruising and contacting are certainly only a modest detraction to this most excellent thumbnail example.
