Lustrous, battleship-gray, magnetite cubes to 1.6 mm richly cover this shapely and showy specimen from the famous ZCA #4 Mine at Balmat, New York. A bit of periphery damage certainly does not detract from the overall quality, as you can see. And in any case, was common to most specimens here. this is an excellent example of the now hard to obtain, Classic material. Valued $400-450.
