Magnetite, Chalcopyrite, and Galena

Very fine Magnetite crystals set on crystallized and massive Galena, accented by brassy and partially-crystallized Chalcopyrites. The Magnetites have a very good metallic luster and excellent crystal form, and they are in excellent condition. This includes the largest of the Magnetites, which is an attractive modified octahedron and 1.1 cm on edge. An excellent and aesthetic combination piece from a very rare locality for crystallized specimens. We seldom see anything from this tightly controlled mine, and Charlie Key seems to have had the world's specimen stash put away. I have not seen this combination for sale elsewhere and find it very unusual
